Emily is an Emmy nominated multimedia journalist/reporter and digital producer at CBS 58 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Previously, she was the weekend anchor/producer and a multimedia journalist at WAOW-TV in Wausau, Wisconsin.
She is a 2015 graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign with a Bachelor of Science in Broadcast Journalism and a certification in public relations.
Her constant curiosity and ability to always ask a question is what drew her to journalism. Emily is eager to learn about the world around her, meet new people and share their stories.
Emily earned a Chicago/Midwest Emmy nomination for her reporting on Lake Michigan’s shrinking shoreline and the impact erosion is having on homeowners. While at WAOW, Emily was a member of several award winning teams including "Best Continuing Coverage" and "Best Spot News" from the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association. She also won first place for "Best TV News Package" from the Illinois Broadcasters Student Silver Dome Awards.
When Emily isn't reporting, she enjoys traveling, cooking and spending time with friends and family.
